Beginner Bootcamp & Social

This workshop will introduce you to the key moves and principles of West Coast Swing. Learn the dance in a day.

You don't need a partner, prior experience, or special clothes - although we recommend you wear lightweight, flat shoes that don't have too much grip.

What will I learn?

The basic moves of West Coast Swing, plus a starter step - everything you need to hit the social dance floor. You'll also gain an overview of how the dance works and how to connect with your partner.

Time and location?

Our venue is the smaller room at St Chad’s Parish Centre in Headingley. There are many options for food nearby, and the venue has plenty of free parking.

• 3pm - Three hour workshop

• 6pm - Break for dinner

• 8pm - Social dance until 11pm

How much does it cost?

You can attend the workshop, the social dance or both:

• Workshop & Social - £25

• Workshop Only - £20

• Social Only - £10
